My Favorite Looks From The 2015 New York Resort Shows

Resort or “Cruise”, as some people call it, are the collections that arrives in stores around November to fill the gap between the fall and spring seasons. Sometimes called the “Pre-Collection”, resort acts as a precursor to the traditional Spring and Summer collections that are shown during September’s fashion weeks across the world. Originally resort was targeted at wealthy customers who were jetting off to warmer climates in cold winter season. Back then those collections were full of summery pieces and even included swimwear collections but in the recent years the resort collections have become just another collection to fill deliveries and now it offers a more transitional look between fall and spring. The 2015 Resort shows take place at the beginning of June in New York, Paris, Milan and London. Since there are too many shows to cover all of them at once, I will show you my Jacket favorites from the New York shows this week and I will cover European shows next week.
