A Transitional Look With Our Ivory Boucle Moto Jacket

March is finally here and we are getting closer and closer to spring. However right now it feels like we are in-between seasons which makes it difficult to decide what to wear or purchase. That is why transitional looks are very important for this time of the year.

For today’s look I have put together an outfit that you can wear now and take into spring, hence calling it a transitional look. I have restyled our chic Ivory Boucle Moto Jacket which you have seen a few other times. This time I have paired it with our Emerald Green Stand Collar Long Sleeve Blouse.

First a little bit about the jacket. It is made out of a beautiful ivory color boucle fabric that is not too heavy. It has all the moto jacket styling features with chrome zipper closures in the front and on the sleeves. It also has two chrome snaps on the lapels.

There is a functional chrome zipper in the bottom of the jacket, but to me it is more of a styling detail that actually allows you to unzip the bottom part of the jacket if you want. It is fully lined in a soft ivory lining and has one chest pocket with a zipper.

As for the Emerald Green Blouse and we only have a few pieces left in it. I feel this is a beautiful shade of green that can work all year round.

The fabric has a soft silky hand and the body is loose and easy to wear. It has a stand collar with a V neck opening that finishes in a placket. The sleeves are long and finished with a cuff that has a nice detailed top stitching.

You also have the option of wearing the sleeves folded up as the shirt has a button tab inside to keep the sleeves up. That is how I am wearing it for today’s look.

For the scarf I decided to go with a neck scarf, which is a perfect substitute for bigger scarves for spring. This one is in a silky fabric and the print is a fun combo of geometric shapes and leopard. I have worn it around my neck and also tied it around my bag as another chic alternative in wearing this kind of scarf.

I kept it minimal for jewelry as there was a lot going on with the neck scarf and the hardware of the jacket, so I am only wearing our cute Silver Small Heart Earrings.
