An Al Fresco Dinner Party Wearing Our Lily Lace Jacket

One of the things I enjoy about our climate here in southern California is dining at home or our favorite local restaurant Al Fresco. I love living in Los Angeles and eating outside during the summer months, it is a treat to be able to do it so often and for so many months during the year.

For me even though I like eating lunch and brunch outside, I have to say an early dinner outside with a nice cocktail or glass of Rose is my favorite time when the sun is just setting.

Last weekend we were invited to an Al Fresco dinner party at a very nice restaurant close by for one of my friend’s birthdays. It was a big table setting outside that created a wonderful ambiance and set the stage to enjoy the evening with great food, wine and everyone’s company.

I chose to wear our brand new Lily Lace jacket for this occasion. The lace design and cut outs make this the perfect jacket to wear during the summer months. The Lace make the piece very airy and cool but still gives you just enough warmth for later in the evening when it gets cooler.

The whole jacket is made out of a beautiful floral lace pattern with a smaller floral lace trim edging that runs all the way in the front, so I chose a simple body to wear underneath to keep the pattern as the focal point.

This Jacket is definitely a statement piece that you can throw on over a simple dress or skinny pants like I did here to just make the outfit pop. I am wearing it over a simple white camisole and white skinny jeans. As for accessories, I added one of our Black and gold necklaces, Hermes belt, black strappy sandals and a gold clutch.
