Black And Gold A Perfect Holiday Combo

I personally love black and gold no matter what season it is. But I have to admit it looks particularly chic during the holidays. Of course, you can always add a bit of red or green to look even more festive, but the black and gold on its own is such a great color combination and so sophisticated.

Speaking of black and gold, we have a brand new blouse in our shop with this color combo which is perfect for this time of the year. Our new Black And Gold Polka Dot Peasant Blouse is a fun top that you can dress up or wear casually with jeans for different occasions. The peasant style body is loose and easy to wear with a drawstring neckline that you can adjust and tie in different ways. It has three quarter length sleeves that have drawstring ties that can be cinched to make the bottom part of the sleeve into a ruffle. They are not overly exaggerated sleeves or ruffles, so you can easily wear it under a jacket or coat.

I am wearing it today with my favorite black waxed jeans because I really like the contrast of the two black textures between the top and the bottom. This top will also look great with black velvet, leather or even jeans. I think this top will also look beautiful with a skirt, as it is very feminine.

I then added our super fun Black Faux Fur High Low Vest to add another layer. I have styled this vest for you before and we have sold quite a few of them already. It is a very good quality piece that is super soft and cozy yet very chic and you can throw it over many outfits including dresses to stay nice warm and cozy during the holidays and winter season. For accessories I added our Taupe Black Metallic Gold Abstract Print Scarf Shawl and Matt Gold Metal Bib Statement Necklace. The scarf is made of a nice soft rayon fabric that has a cool sophisticated abstract print. The print has splashes of metallic gold which makes it perfect for this outfit or any holiday look. The necklace is also a great holiday statement piece that you can wear with many items and it looks great with this black and gold blouse.
