Black And Ivory Color And Pattern Mix

Today I am doing a black and ivory color and pattern mix with our black long hooded cardigan with pockets which I first debuted for you HERE. We have this cardigan in a camel color as well and you can see that piece HERE.

The cardigan is made of a soft black yarn that is textured in a rib pattern. The body is semi loose but not oversized. It has a hood, two pockets and is finished with ribbing detail in the bottom and the cuff area.

I am wearing it today with our Ivory black Dalmatian dot print silky shirt which I first style for you HERE. The print on this shirt also resembles a leopard print. The background color is ivory with the Dalmatian dots in black. The fabric is soft and silky and the body is loose and a bit oversized. It has all the characteristics of a shirt, like a collar and stand, small buttons in the front, long sleeves with a cuff and buttons and one chest pocket.

The pattern mix comes into play with the addition of our gray black gold dot print scarf shawl. This dot print scarf is a fun piece. The dot pattern is smaller than the dot pattern of the shirt, so the two patterns mix really well together. I also love the little bit of the gold metallic in the scarf. I finished off the look with adding our gold and black bead small clover earrings. I also added my little red bag as a pop of color.
