Black With A Pop Of Color
I think we can all agree that black is a wardrobe staple for everyone. Whether it’s a clothing item or an accessory item, we all own multiple items in black in our closets. One of the ways I really like wearing black is to wear it with a pop of color.
Today I have a fab new black rayon blouse with printed ivory stripes. Where the color pop comes in is the beautiful multi color floral embroidery that is done on top of the stripe. The embroidery is placed on the front and also on the sleeves. The style is like a peasant top with shirring around the neck with two ties that end in black tassels. You can wear this blouse now and easily take it into spring and summer.
I am wearing it with my black jeans, and I have added our Black Silk Velvet and Satin Bomber Jacket on top. I think these bomber jackets are a classic and a must have jacket for any woman. This one is made from very nice quality of silk velvet and satin fabrics and is pretty light weight. The front and back are the satin part, the sides and the sleeves are the velvet part.
The body is a classic bomber jacket with a nice gold zipper in the front and two pockets that also have gold zippers. The shape is loose and casual with ribbed bottom, cuffs and collar. This is a great transitional bomber jacket that you can wear now and take into fall. It looks great open or zipped up and I have shown you both looks below. This jacket is currently on SALE so you can get additional savings on it with our flash sale this weekend.
For a second pop of color with my black look I am wearing a new Pull on Poncho which I am calling “Curry”. These pull on ponchos are very popular and have quickly become best sellers for us. We currently have them in Black, Oatmeal and Blue Gray with this great Curry color being the latest addition.
They are made of a soft knit, and you can wear them year-round depending on what you wear them over. They can be worn many ways and I have shown you a few of them below in the photos. You can pull them over your head but then you can turn them whichever way you want to get different asymmetrical look.
For jewelry today, I have a new necklace and bracelet that can work as a set together since they are the same chain link combo. They are both two separate chains that you can wear together or separately. One chain is a larger link chain and the other one is a flat snake chain.
