Debuting Jacket Society Blouses

As I mentioned back in January, due to great demand from my readers and customers, I have decided to add blouses and tops to the Jacket Society line. I hope you will be patient with me as it will be a process as we start to populate the store with these great new items and by the time we get closer to spring/summer and hotter temperatures, we will have a lot more tops and blouses for you.

Today I am super excited to debut our first two blouses that we have just added to our web site’s “Blouses and Tops” category. I wanted to start with something very soft and feminine yet trendy and current. A blouse that you can wear on its own and make a statement with it. I came up with this peasant style blouse with lace detailing and tassels. The fabric is a wonderful soft rayon and it feels so nice next to your skin. The silhouette is very loose and over sized so you can wear it out or tuck the front part in and leave the back part out, to get a more blouson look.

The back has a beautiful lace insert that gives the blouse a sexy edge. The front has a ribbon and tassel trim and two string ties that end in a long tassel and you can tie them in different ways and lengths. We are offering this top in Black Here and White Here. Below you can see how I styled each one with the opposite color bottom to create a simple black and white look. I decided to add my red Prada bag for a pop of color. You can also add a colorful shoe or shawl to this outfit to get the same effect. Both of these tops will look great with jeans or any color bottoms as well as printed bottoms. They will also look great with shorts going into spring. They are so versatile and you can style them in so many different ways.
