Fall Trend Alert Oversized Boyfriend Blazer

Oversized blazers, especially double-breasted ones, have been trending since last fall and they are continuing into this fall. The difference is now single breasted boyfriend style blazers have become just as important.

Having said that, today I have a new boyfriend blazer for you that is perfect for this trend. It is our Ecru Oversized One Button Boyfriend Blazer. The fabric, which is not very heavy, has a slight pattern to it. The silhouette is taken from a traditional men’s blazer with a collar and lapel, two welt pockets with flaps and an upper welt pocket. The body is oversized and loose with long sleeves which I have scrunched up or folded for today’s look.

I have styled it today with a beautiful new silky shirt in a color I am calling ginger. The silky fabric is a jacquard with a leopard pattern that is very subtle since it is in the same color. You would need to look at the store photos for a close-up to see the pattern.

It has all the traditional shirt characteristics, like a collar with a stand and long sleeves with cuffs. The body is semi loose but not oversized. It looks great tucked in or left out.

For a scarf I have added our Taupe Multi color Paisley Print Scarf which is also printed on a silky fabric like the shirt. This scarf has been a best-seller for us and we only have two pieces left. I finished off the look today with our Gold Tone Ancient Coin Pendant Necklace.
