Hearts And Stripes For Valentine’s Day - Just Style LA

I know we still have a few weeks until Valentine’s Day, but when I came across this cute t-shirt I decided I must get for our store. So for today’s style feature I decided to do a fun and casual yet stylish look based around this piece.

Even though this t-shirt looks perfect for Valentine’s Day, it can be worn any time, since it is a great stripe t-shirt with a cute heart screen printed on the front. It is made out of a wonderful soft rayon jersey material. The stripes are black and ivory with the red heart print on top. The body is loose and as usual I have shown it both tucked in or left out for you to see.

I am wearing this t-shirt today with my waxed black jeans and Black Unstructured Moto Jacket with Belt. I first debuted this jacket for you here. It is made out of a rayon/cotton soft fabric that gives this jacket the unstructured casual look. The best part is that you can easily take it into spring. It has a chrome zipper and snaps and a belt that is removable. The sleeves have a tab and snap detail so you can fold them and make them into a cuff by using the tab. If you don’t use the tab, the jacket sleeves are long and you will still need to fold them.

I wanted to take this fun outfit to another level by adding a brand new gorgeous red and black shawl. Our Reversible Red and Black Jacquard Shawl Wrap is a beautiful piece that can elevate any look at any time. It is a reversible piece with both sides being a red/black jacquard pattern, but one side is blacker and the other side is more red. I chose to wear the blacker side for you today but you can see photos of both sides in our shop photos.

However, I must say both sides are very similar and I added this piece as a third layer over the jacket which is a great look for these cold days. I am also showing how it looks with just the t-shirt on its own.

For accessories I added our black bead and fringe knot necklace which is a super cute and fun piece. As for my shoes, for a change, I wore this look with my new flat Gucci mules but booties would work just as well.
