Holiday Fun With Family At Muse Concert
I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend enjoying the start of the Holiday season whether you were doing last minute shopping or just enjoying some quality time with family and friends. We did a bit of both this past weekend which was fun. Now that the house is all decorated and my son is home, it finally started to feel like the holidays this weekend, especially with the cold weather and rain that we got in Los Angeles.
Over Thanksgiving, my husband surprised me with an early Christmas gift. He had purchased four tickets for a Muse Concert at the Staples Center on Dec 19th. We both really like Muse and have seen them before in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay. They are a great band to see live as they put on a great show, not just with the music they play, but also their stage production and lights. My son also likes them, so we offered the other pair of tickets to him and his girlfriend.
So last Saturday we headed out for an early dinner and took a few photos for the blog before heading downtown to Staples Center for the concert. The weather was very cloudy and it was supposed to rain later on so I decided to wear my favorite leather jacket that I have had for a few years. It was also really cold (for Los Angeles) so I wore my black turtleneck under the jacket with white skinny jeans. I have always loved turtlenecks, but they are not always in fashion and are not that popular to wear in Los Angeles. But this year has seen a great return of the turtlenecks and I love it. I even love it for men but my husband won’t wear one. I added one of our bestselling animal print scarf in black and white to the outfit to finish it off.
Needless to say the concert was amazing and we had a fantastic time. I can’t even begin to describe their stage production and lighting so I took a few pictures below for you to see. It was a great way to start the fun spirit of the holidays especially with my son being home now for a whole month!
