How To Wear Earth Tones Year Round

I love transitional looks that you can take from spring into fall and fall into spring. There are a lot of color palettes that work perfectly for these transitional times and earth tones are one of them.

Today’s look is a good example of this kind of color palette. I have a new top in the store that is a great transitional item, something that you can wear now and take into early spring, it is our new Two Tone Cinnamon Knit Cowl Neck Top.

Made out of a beautiful two tone soft knit fabric in a pretty cinnamon/rust color. The body is semi loose, but not oversized. It is long with two side pockets and a cowl neck that has a drawstring tie.

Since its still pretty cold everywhere, I added our Oatmeal Cable Knit Cocoon Cardigan as a topper. I think the color works really nicely over the cinnamon colored top.

This cardigan is made out of a soft yarn in a pretty neutral color that I am calling oatmeal. The body has a nice loose cocoon shape, and the front is a bit shorter than the back.

It is knitted in a traditional cable pattern with diamond shapes on the front. It also has a ribbed fold back shawl collar and ribbed cuffs, and the sleeves are long and full.

For a scarf today I am wearing our Brown Rust Taupe Floral Print Scarf Shawl which picks up both colors of the cardigan and the top. It also has some metallic gold splashes, so I decided to add a bit of gold tone jewelry.

I have a new necklace and earring that are almost a set, even though I am not selling them as a set. They both have a Moroccan Flower shape pendant so they can be worn together as a set.

Even though I usually don’t like wearing matching jewelry items, in this case I think they really look nice together. I also added a new bracelet, our Tan Marbleized Bead and Charm Bracelet to finish off the look.
