How To Wear White For Fall
Can you wear white after Labor Day? The answer is a big YES!!
I think you can absolutely wear white after Labor Day and so much of it has to do with how you wear and style it.
Here are some pointers in how to wear white for fall:
- Wear it with darker colors
- Add fall accessories like shawls and scarves
- Wear boots or fall appropriate shoes.
- Make sure your white piece is in a heavier fabric.
In today’s look I have incorporated all these pointers in my outfit. The white piece in my outfit is my jeans which is made out of a medium to heavy weight fabric.
I am wearing it with a new bomber jacket we just added to the store, we call it our Black Silk Velvet and Satin Bomber Jacket. This jacket is made out of really nice quality of silk velvet and satin fabrics and is fairly light weight. The front and back are the satin part, the sides and the sleeves are the velvet part.
The body is a classic bomber jacket with a nice gold tone zipper in the front and two pockets that also have gold tone zippers. The shape is loose and casual with ribbed bottom, cuffs and collar.
For a pop of color, I am wearing it with our new Royal Blue Round Neck Long Sleeve Top. This is a new color addition to our rayon modal jersey tops. I love how the royal blue looks with both the white jeans and the black jacket.
To bring the whole outfit together I have the perfect scarf/shawl to go with the look. Our Black Blue Red Plaid Square Shape Scarf Shawl is a great item with all the colors of the outfit to finish the look.
For jewelry today I am wearing one of our new clover necklaces, our Black Leather String Necklace with Rhinestone Clover.
The shoes I am wearing are my black booties which make the whole look more fall appropriate.
