Menswear Inspired Womens Sophia Jacket In Brown Tweed - Just Style LA

Brown has always been one of my favorite colors. I consider it a great neutral color that works with almost everything. And even though most people consider brown a fall color, I personally think its season less. Just like any black or grey it is a great neutral base to have in your closet. I look at brown as a great alternative for black, when you get tired of wearing black every day, you can throw on brown as your base neutral color and work it with other neutrals or bright colors. This is why i decided to include the color when I put my “Jacket Society” jacket line together; I knew I had to include some jackets in brown. Therefore I came up with the “Sophia Jacket” which happens to be a sister to the “Madison Jacket”. Just like the Madison jacket, the Sophia jacket is also inspired with menswear in mind but this time in a brown tweed fabric that has a beautiful brown tone, mixed with a rich chocolate brown velvet that is used as a contrast for the elbow patches, collar and the handmade welt pocket details. What I love about my jacket society line is the fact that you can make them dressy or casual very easily by what you decide to wear with them. I decided to throw on my Sophia jacket this weekend with my favorite distressed jeans and a t shirt, pointy pumps and some accessories and I was good to go. You can also opt to wear a darker dressier jean or even a chocolate skinny pant with some boots and you instantly get a different look. This jacket will be available for purchase on our web site in the near future; meanwhile for any inquiries you can email me directly at nora@www.jacketsociety.com. Meanwhile, please comment below on how you feel about the color brown and how would you wear this jacket?
