Olive Is The Perfect Transitional Color
Olive is one of those colors that works for any season, in fact to me it is pretty much a neutral. However, I tend to believe it works a little better for the transitional months between seasons.
Having said that, today I have a new jacket to show you in a pretty shade of olive which you can wear now and easily take it into early spring. The fabric is a soft and sanded faux suede with some stretch in it. Faux suede is a great transitional fabric.
The body is semi shaped, with long sleeves. It is open front with a fold back collar; however, you can leave the collar loose and it will fall forward which is also a great look. You can see both ways below in the photos.
I have paired it today with a new sweater top in a vanilla color. This sweater top is knitted in a fine gauge and the yarn is very soft. It is meant to be worn as more of a top than sweater since it is shaped and true to size. It makes a great layering piece for colder days when a jersey top might not be warm enough.
For a scarf I am wearing our Lemon Multi Color Patch Work Print Scarf which works beautifully with both the top and the jacket. We only have a few pieces in this scarf, if you like it don't wait to buy it.
As for the necklace I have a new piece which compliments this look perfect. Our Natural Stone Long Necklace with Crystal and Coin Pendant is a beautiful necklace. Make sure to check it close up in our shop. In fact, we have added a lot of new jewelry pieces to our shop.
