Our Hot Summer Sale Starts Today And A New Look

For today’s look, I have restyled our beautiful oatmeal novelty knit cardigan vest which I first debuted for you HERE. It is knitted in a soft tape yarn that I am calling oatmeal. The body is loose and easy to wear. It has a novelty pointelle stitch in the top part of the front and the back. You can see the design in the photos below or in store photos. Since vests are such a hot trend right now, this is a great way to include the look in your wardrobe.

I have paired it today with a new top, our magenta v neck drop shoulder loose top. I love this shade of magenta; it is very pretty. The fabric is a soft rayon with a little bit of spandex. The body is loose/slightly oversized. It has drop shoulders with short sleeves, so the sleeves almost look elbow length.

This top works beautifully with our green pink white abstract print scarf shawl, so I decided to add it to the outfit. There is some magenta in the scarf, so it picks up on the top. There is also a neutral color in there that is very similar to the oatmeal.

Note: As I mentioned in my last “Style Talk” from Thursday, you can wear these kinds of scarves as a sarong or wrap around your bathing suits for summer as well.
