Our Western Inspired Olive Faux Suede Jacket

One of the biggest trends that was shown on the runways for Fall 2018 was “Western Wear”. Designers featured everything from cowboy boots and shirts to fringed suede jackets and lots of plaids, there were also a lot of other looks that were inspired by the wild west.

Personally, I am not a huge fan of head-to-toe western looks, but I think there are elements one can take from this trend and style it in a modern way.

My look for today covers some elements of this western wear trend but I have modernized it and styled it to look appropriate for today’s fashion “look”.

Introducing our new Olive Faux Suede Jacket with Fringe that is a fun yet chic and trendy piece that you can add to your wardrobe and wear it for many years to come. I think this is the perfect jacket for you that touches on the trend without going overboard.

I love the color of this jacket because it is such a perfect color for the start of fall. It is a great transitional color you can wear now and take all the way through fall and winter. The body of the jacket is loose with long sleeves and the bottom hem is finished with a fun self-fringe.

I am wearing the jacket with our Ivory Ruffle Sleeve Jersey Top which is a great layering piece which works well on its own as well. The ruffle sleeves make it unique and different from a basic t-shirt.

For accessories, I added our Earth Tone Abstract Print Scarf Shawl with Tassels which works really well with this jacket and I also added our Matt Gold Chain Necklace with Round Pendant and Beads.

I styled all of these pieces with my distressed jeans and my cowboy inspired (not real-cowboy) boots and bag.
