The Pollock Jacket Mixed With Our Blue Graphic Tee
The Pollock Jacket Mixed With Our Blue Graphic Tee
A couple of weeks ago when I debuted our first graphic tee on the blog, we got an amazing response, lots of orders and a lot of great comments about offering more of them. I was hoping for this kind of response, since I personally love graphic t shirts mixed with jackets, and your reaction confirmed that we are on the right track.
Today I am presenting you with our second Grifflin Paris graphic t shirt, this time mixed with our Pollock print jacket. You have seen me style the Pollock jacket before here and here. This graphic tee is a little different than the first one, as it is made out of a wonderful soft georgette fabric on the front and really soft knit on the back, giving it a more luxurious and soft hand. The front is an ivory georgette with a graphic print in beautiful shades of navy and blue and some wording. Because of the front being made of a georgette, I do want to mention that it is a little sheer so you may need to wear a camisole underneath. The back is solid navy knit that is soft and fluid and it is a little longer than the front.
I I styled them with my white skinny jeans but as you can imagine it will look great with blue jeans or even a bright colored bottom like red pants or skirt.
I wanted to share a few tips in mixing prints or patterns together:
- Choose two patterns that are different sizes. Small mixed with big is always more interesting than the same scale pattern
- Mix two different kind of prints, for example floral with geometric
- If you choose the same pattern make sure the two are in different size. For example, mix small floral pattern with big floral pattern
- Make sure the two prints at least share one color in common
- It is always good to break out the look with one solid element
