Transitioning Into Spring With Florals Stripes And Fringe

Hope you all had a great weekend. My husband and I finally got around to see the movie “Hidden Figures” and really enjoyed it. I am so happy we got to learn about this true story, something that I had never heard of before and something these three remarkable women achieved. I would highly recommend it to everyone. We also managed to watch the Super Bowl on Sunday which is something I normally do not have any interest in at all, but I have to admit this year’s game was fun and exciting to watch especially at the end.

Today I am showing you another transitional look that you can wear now and easily take into spring and summer. Our brand new black and ivory asymmetrical cardigans with fringe are two great pieces and perfect for this transition. They are made out of a really nice cotton and rayon yarn so they are super soft and comfortable. The asymmetrical shape and the fringe also makes them unique and trendy. You can throw them over pants, skirts or dresses and they will not only keep you warm but make a fashion statement. They are both great neutral colors that can be worn with many outfits.

The best part is that we also have a beautiful new top that works perfectly with both of these cardigans. Our new floral print t shirt with stripe sleeves is a fun and trendy piece that you can wear to work or a fun weekend out. I love the color combo of the black and ivory with grays and yellows with yellow being a big trend color going into spring 2017. It is one of Pantone’s 2017 trend colors called “primrose yellow” and I will be covering all their colors for spring 2017 next week on my blog. I also wanted to mention that the top is actually quite long. I have chosen to wear it tucked in so you can’t see the length so make sure to check the web site photos to see the actual length which comes all the way down to below the hip.

I wore the top with my favorite new leggings by BCBG which are inspired by track pants but dressier. They are made out of a heavy knit and have decorative stripes on the side and zippers in the bottom so you can wear them open or closed. The best part is that they are currently on sale and come in a navy color way as well. I bought both colors and love wearing them. As for accessories, I chose to wear our classic gold plated double circle earrings instead of a necklace and finished off the look with black booties and my Gucci bag.
