Trend Alert Velvet Burnout And Holiday Sale Reminder
Last week on my blog, I talked about the hottest fall trend being “velvet” and today I am presenting you with another big trend for fall, “velvet burnouts” which are in the same category as velvets. Just like velvet, velvet burnouts are normally used for evening wear or dressier occasions. These days both fabrics can be dressed down for day time or a more casual night out.
Today I am showing you our new Black Velvet Burnout Kimono with Fringe which is a beautiful and fun piece you can dress up or down depending on how you style it. I chose to wear it with jeans for a date night last weekend. I am sure you can all imagine how great this piece would look over a black dress, black pant or skirt paired with a fabulous top, but I wanted to show you how great it can also look with just jeans, sexy sandals and a few necklaces. The silouette is loose with beautiful kimono sleeves and the bottom has a long rayon braided fringe that gives it a fun finish.. The front has no closure and is finished with a velvet trim.
I paired it with my skinny jeans, a black V-neck top and added two brand new pearl necklaces that we have just added to our shop. I paired the two necklace together as they work really well together, but they are actually two separate pieces. These vintage inspired necklaces are made of faux pearls, rhinestones and a gunmetal chain which gives them both a rich finish. I completed my look with black high heeled sandals, a black belt and my black Gucci bag.
