One of the major colors that was shown by a lot of designers on the runways for spring 2018 was yellow, specifically mustard yellow. Pantone also included a yellow in their Spring 2018 colors, but this was a slightly paler one called Meadowlark. No matter what shade is your favorite, yellow seems to be the “it” color for this spring this year.

I know a lot of women think yellow is a difficult color to wear. But I think there is an appropriate shade of yellow for everyone, you just have to find which shade works for you. The other way to wear it is as an accessory or mixed with another color, as opposed to a big piece of yellow.

Today I am showing you a chic and modern black and white look with a touch of yellow. This is one way you can include this color in your wardrobe without going crazy with it.

I have a bit of pattern play going on with my outfit today by mixing stripes together with a bit of a floral pattern in the scarf. For the first look, I wore our Black Pinstripe Long Boyfriend jacket and Black Ivory Stripe V Neck T-shirt with my own black side stripe legging pants. The stripes on the jacket are very subtle so it mixes well with the bold stripes of the t-shirt.

I then added our brand new Black White Yellow Floral Stripe Scarf Shawl. This is a great piece to include in your spring wardrobe while wearing a trendy color at the same time. It is a stripe and floral mix pattern on a soft and light weight rayon fabric.

As for a necklace, I added our new Black Gray White Bead and Pendant Necklace which is a great piece that you can wear with many outfits. I also added a brand-new bracelet that is a great addition to this look and works perfectly with the necklace as a set. This bracelet will also be a great piece to stack up with other bracelets you already own.

For a second look, I wore a super fun Black and White Stripe Knit Pull On Poncho that we have just added to our site. I think this is beautiful piece for spring and a statement piece that will elevate any outfit. It is made out of a soft knit and it is open on the sides. You just pull it over your head and viola you are good to go.
