Taupe And White A Classic Spring Color Combo
Last weekend I debuted our navy cardigan vest and it almost sold out within the two days! But I am happy to say we have re-stocked all the sizes now, however, don’t wait to get yours as I am sure they will sell out again soon. You can see the navy one HERE.
Today I have the same cardigan vest in taupe which is a great neutral color year-round. This vest is knitted in a nice soft taupe yarn and has ribbed detailing in the front and around the arms. It has two front pockets that are also finished with a ribbing detail. The front is open with no closure and the bottom of the sides have two slits. If you want to cover the “vest trend” but you are hesitating on some of the woven ones, this is a great alternative as it is casual and easy to wear.
To make the cardigan vest more appropriate for spring, I have paired it with a new white shirt. Our white button down shirt with pocket is a made of a super soft 100% rayon fabric. The body is true to size with all the shirt characteristics, like a collar, small buttons in the front, cuffs and one pocket on the chest.
For a scarf I am wearing a new lightweight, leopard print scarf that has taupe and brown in its colors plus an accent color of mustard. It blends nicely with the cardigan vest. As for my necklace, it is also a new piece, and it is made of gold metal circular links.
