A New Look With Our Best Selling Putty Cape Vest
One of our most loved and re-ordered items in our shop has been our Putty Cape Vest. It was the first color I introduced in our Cape Vest products, and it was an instant hit. We have since added more colors in our cape vests and we currently have these in Black, Steel Blue, Mocha, Camel, Cinnamon
Today I have restyled the Putty cape vest for you for a chic transitional look. The fabric in our cape vests is a soft knit. You can wear them two different ways: One way is more of a “cape look” with the cape part spread over your shoulders. And the second way is more of a “vest look” where you pull in the cape part. I have shown you both looks below.
I am wearing it over one of our rayon modal jersey tops, our Ivory round neck long sleeve top. This is a great basic top, and the fabric is super soft. The body is quite long so make sure to check the length in our shop photos.
For accessories I have a new silky scarf that is very pretty. It is our Ivory black yellow abstract floral silky scarf. I am also wearing a new bracelet set, our multi layered black gold brown bracelet set.
Before I go, I wanted to mention that I will be leaving for France with my husband and my son for our summer vacation early next week. I am turning 60 on August 16th and my husband and son are treating me to a wonderful trip to Paris and South of France.
I used to travel to Paris a few times a year for work when I was working in the fashion industry, but I haven’t been back in quite some time, so I am really looking forward to this trip. But the best part is that my son is joining us this year making it extra special since we haven’t traveled with him in a long time.
