A Tropical Print Mixed With Kelly Green

One of my favorite shades of green is “Kelly green”. It is such a beautiful color that has enough brightness, but it is not too bright. In my opinion this shade of green works best for spring and summer.

Fun Fact: Kelly green is named after the common Irish family name “Kelly” which is reminiscent of the lush green Irish landscapes. It is also associated with St. Patrick’s Day green.

This year Pantone has a very similar color to this shade of green for spring 2021 that they are calling “Tasty Mint”.

Today I have a new top and I am calling it our Kelly Green Round Neck Elbow Length Top. It is made out of a soft rayon jersey knit. The body is semi loose but not oversized. It has elbow length sleeves, which is a new take on the three-quarter length sleeves. What I like about these sleeves is that you can fold them up a few times and make them shorter for hotter days.

To go along with this pretty Kelly green top, I have the perfect Tropical Leaf Print Kimono Cardigan. The fun tropical print has combinations of blues and greens and is printed over an ivory background.

The fabric is soft and has a nice drape to it but it also has enough body to work as a cardigan. The body is like a cardigan, so you can wear it, the only part that is like a kimono is the sleeves. The body also has a peplum in the bottom.

For jewelry I have combined two of our necklaces together, however you can purchase them separately if you don’t like them together, as they are not a set.

The Antique Brass and Green Bead and Stone one is currently on sale. The Matte Gold Circular Chain Link one is very pretty and can work on its own or combined with other necklaces.

I wore all these pieces with my white trousers, but I wanted to point that the tropical print kimono would also look great with any type of blue, navy, green or even black bottoms as well.
