Embracing The Ease Of Kimono Season
Spring and summer are the perfect seasons to embrace the effortless elegance of kimonos. Lightweight, flowy, and endlessly versatile, kimonos add just the right layer without feeling heavy, making them ideal for warmer days and breezy evenings. Whether styled over a simple tank and denim or draped over a dress, they bring movement, color, and a touch of sophistication to any look. From soft florals to bold prints, kimonos capture the carefree spirit of the season while offering an easy way to elevate even the most casual outfit.
With that said I have re-styled one of our beautiful kimonos today for a casual yet chic look. This piece is our black floral print kimono with embroidery and lace details. It is made of a soft black fabric that is printed in a floral print and then embroidered on top with a delicate white pattern. And as if that is not enough, it also has a novelty lace trim included throughout the body and the sleeves. The body is loose with kimono style sleeves. The print has beautiful colors on top of the black background and one of those colors is Sage.
That is why I chose to style it with our Sage V neck elbow length sleeve top. The top is another one of our great selections of rayon jersey tops. The body is loose and easy but not oversized and I love the elbow length sleeves which is a great alternate to short sleeves.
I finished off the look with our double layer Ivory gold novelty bead necklace which works nicely with the whole look. As for the bracelet, this Ivory and gold bead bracelet set of four with charm was one of our best-sellers last spring so we have decided to bring it back!
