Houndstooth Patterns Are A Fall Fashion Classic

Timeless and sophisticated, the houndstooth pattern remains a true fall fashion classic. This distinctive checkered design instantly elevates any outfit with its elegant mix of tradition and modernity. Whether featured on a tailored coat, a chic poncho, or a cozy scarf, houndstooth adds visual interest and texture while maintaining an effortlessly polished appeal.

With that said, for today’s style feature I have used one of our houndstooth ponchos to put together a few stylish looks for you. The pattern of this chic poncho is a classic houndstooth in a beautiful neutral color combo. The fabric is very soft and cozy. It is a poncho style that you can put your arms through and let it sit on your shoulder. You can also pull in over your shoulder for a more “shawl look”. 

I have styled it over two different tops for two different looks. The first look is over our camel cowl neck knit sweater vest. It is made of a soft camel yarn. The body is loose and boxy with two armholes, a cowl neck and two 5” slits on the bottom of each side.

The second look is a cleaner look over our black round neck long sleeve top. This rayon jersey is one of our basic staples and it is great layering piece that you can wear with many items.

For jewelry I have decided to stay simple and only wear earrings. The earrings are our fun gold and rhinestone double clover drop earrings. These earrings will also make a great gift for the holiday season.
