Mixing A Boho Peasant Blouse With a Blazer
Before I talk about today’s look, I want to introduce a new accessory item we have just added to our shop that I am very excited about. Ever since I have had to wear reading glasses, I have always loved using chain eyeglass holders. They can be very convenient and practical if you don’t want to keep pulling glasses out of your bag.
Now some of these chain eyeglass holders are made in a way that you can use them to hold your Covid 19 masks as well. Since Covid 19 masks have become a part of our daily wardrobe, why not use these chains to make them look a bit more fashionable.
Having said all of that, when I came across some of these chains, I jumped on the opportunity to offer them on our site. They come with two lobster hooks at each end (which you can use to put your mask handles on) and two removable rubber ends for your eyeglasses at each end. Last but not least you can wear them as a necklace as well, single or doubled-up.
When you scroll through today’s photos, you will see at the end where I have styled the gold chain one all three ways. This chain also comes in a dark gray color which you can choose as a secondary color option when you click on the product.
We also have another chain that has pearls on the sides which is very pretty as well and and you can see that one here.
As for today’s look, I have restyled our Burnt Sienna Notch Collar Open Front Blazer which I debuted for you here. This beautiful blazer is made out of a lightweight, soft, semi textured fabric. The body is easy and loose but not oversized. It has a classic notch collar and two welt pockets with flaps.
The sleeves are three quarter length with a couple of pleats and a tab and snap detail, making it perfect for spring. The front has no button closure, and it is fully lined. As you can see the blazer just gives the whole outfit a more finished look.
I was pleasantly surprised to see how well this blazer works with our best-selling Paisley Floral Print Boho Peasant Blouse! I first styled this blouse for you here and we immediately sold out of them. We have since re-stocked them and I wanted to style it for a second time, this time with this beautiful blazer.
The print is a combination of paisley and floral patterns in a very pretty color combo. The fabric is a semi crinkled georgette, and the top comes with a separate cotton camisole (included) in a tan color, so you don’t have to worry about it being see-through. The body has peasant style detailing with full, three quarter length sleeves and a tie with tassels in the front.
For jewelry I am wearing our Gold Tone Intricate Diamond Shape Earrings, and of course the Metal Figaro Chain Mask and Eyewear Holder that I talked about in the beginning of my blog post.
