Mixing Stripe Patterns In Black And Ivory

Pattern mixing can really elevate a look and make it more interesting, if it is done right. For today’s look I am pattern mixing with a stripe shirt and stripe silky neck scarf. One thing that helps a lot with this process is if the colors being mixed are two neutrals like black and Ivory.

As for the outfit, I have two new pieces in today’s look and the first one is our Ivory oversized long sweater vest. The vest is made of a soft knit and the body is oversized and long. It has a V neck that is finished in a ribbing detail which is also part of the bottom. There are two slits on each side at the bottom as well.

I am wearing this piece over our black Ivory stripe silky shirt with roll up sleeves. The shirt is made of a soft and silky fabric, and the body is loose and long. It has two pockets on the chest with a small button. The sleeves are long with a cuff, but it also has a tab inside so you can wear them folded up as a three-quarter length sleeve.

The second new piece is our Ivory black gold geometric print silky neck scarf. This fun neck scarf has a geomatical stripe pattern in Ivory, black and a little bit of gold. I love the mixing of the two stripes in the shirt and the neck scarf.

I have finished off my look with our multi layered black gold brown bracelet set which is one of our best-sellers that we have recently re-stocked.
