Orange Is Trending For Spring And Summer
Orange has always been one of my favorite bright colors especially for spring and summer. So the fact that it has been trending the last couple of years, including this year, makes me very happy.
It is such a happy and uplifting color, kind of like yellow. Plus there is so many different shades of orange that one of them is bound to work for your skin tone.
The top I am showing you today is in a very pretty and flattering shade of orange. The fabric is a wonderful soft rayon with a little bit of spandex. The body is loose/slightly oversized. It has drop shoulders with short sleeves, so the sleeves almost look elbow length.
We have the same top in two other colors: Light Blue and Magenta.
I’ve paired it today with our Oatmeal novelty knit cardigan vest. It is knitted in a soft tape yarn that I am calling oatmeal. The body is loose and easy to wear. It has a novelty point Elle stitch in the top part of the front and the back. You can see the design in the photos below or in store photos. Since vests are such a hot trend right now, this is a great way to include the look in your wardrobe.
For my accessories today, I have added our orange blue black floral print silky neck scarf and five layer wood and gold bead bracelet set. They are both great pieces to finish off this casual chic look.
