Starting 2018 in our Black Pinstripe Boyfriend Jacket And Jeans

A very Happy New Year to everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season including a fabulous New Year’s weekend. We had a wedding in Palm Springs on Saturday December 30^th so we made a long weekend of it and stayed in town for the New Year’s Eve celebrations with the wedding party and then drove back on New years day.

It was a beautiful wedding, firstly at a beautiful church in Rancho Mirage and then a reception and dinner dance that was held in the ball room at the Riviera Hotel. This is a 50’s style hotel in Palm Springs that is beautifully decorated througout and it used to be a Rat Pack hangout for Frank Sinatra and his pals in the 60’s, and a place where Elvis Presley and his band once crashed too. It went through a big renovation and remodeling around 10 years ago, but the ballroom where we all danced the night away has alot of history behind it and has not really changed alot since the good Ol’ days.

We stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago and I can say I like everything about it except for the rooms. The rooms are small and the floor plan is not great for some of them. However, their restaurant, pool and other amenities are very nice and the ballroom for the wedding was beautiful. Overall, we had a great time with friends and it was a nice little getaway.

Today I am showing you our Black Pinstripe Boyfriend jacket styled for a second time. I first debuted this jacket here. It is chic yet easy-to-wear jacket that you can wear to the office or casually with jeans like I have done today. This is a great white shirt with an easy loose body that you can wear for many occasions. We have sold quite a few of them and now only have a few pieces left. As an accessory, I added our Black and White Paisley Print Silk Square Neck Scarf. I love neck scarves with blazer, it is such a classy and chic look and a good alternative to regular scarves. I wore all three pieces with my ripped jeans, Gucci belt and shoes and Chanel bag.
