Wearing A Long Cardigan With Shorts

We are having the strangest spring weather here in Los Angeles. It has been gloomy, cloudy, cool, and even rainy days for the last month. I know there is always “June gloom” but this year it is a bit more than that. I am hoping we are going to turn the corner soon and get our beloved sunny days back.

Because of this weather I have been wearing a lot of my cardigans on daily basis. Even in warmer days, lightweight cardigans come in handy for cool nights. So, I always like to have a lightweight cardigan handy. Last month I introduced you to our navy lightweight long cardigan. You can see that blog story HERE.  Today I have restyled this great cardigan, this time with a different top and neck scarf.

 This cardigan is very lightweight, so you don’t have to worry about it being too warm. It is knitted in a soft rayon and nylon yarn with a bit of stretch. The body is long and semi loose but not oversized. It has long sleeves and is finished with ribbing in the bottom and the sleeves. It also has two slits on the bottom of the sides.

 The top I am wearing with it is our light blue V neck drop shoulder loose top, which I first debuted for you HERE. The fabric is a wonderful soft rayon with a little bit of spandex. The body is loose/slightly oversized. It has drop shoulders with short sleeves, so the sleeves almost look elbow length. We currently have this same top in two other colors: Orange and Magenta.

I finished off my look with our white blue red geometric print neck scarf and gold tone chunky short hoop earrings.
