Yellow Trending For Spring And Summer

One of the hottest colors for this spring and summer is yellow. In fact, one of Pantone’s Spring 2022 colors is called Daffodil which is a soft and pretty shade of yellow. It is the perfect color to trend for spring and summer since it represents sunshine and golden days.

Today I have a new top that is in a pretty and deep shade of yellow I am calling “mustard”. I styled the same top for you in a “Kelly green” color a few weeks ago and you can see that one HERE.

It is made from a soft rayon jersey knit. The body is semi loose but not oversized. It has elbow length sleeves, which is a new take on the three-quarter length sleeves. What I like about these sleeves is that you can fold them up a few times and make them shorter for hotter days.

I am wearing it with our Navy Textured Yarn Open Front Cardigan which I first debuted for you HERE. The navy yarn has a little bit of a texture to it and a great feel which makes it more novel. The body is loose and easy to wear with no front closure. It has three quarter length sleeves with a fold back cuff.

For a scarf I am wearing our Gray Black Blue Silver Abstract Print Scarf. It works nicely with the cardigan and top combo. We had this scarf in our shop last year and it was very popular so decided to bring it back. It comes in a Gray/Black/Orange/Gold color combo too and you can see that piece HERE.

For a necklace I am wearing our Multi Layer Pearl Gray Gold Bead Necklace. We only have 2 pieces left in this pretty necklace.
