A Casual Yet Chic Outfit For Fourth Of July
Fourth of July Weekend is almost here, and I have a casual yet chic look for you that is perfect to wear for this patriotic holiday. For the first chic outfit look, I am continuing with my newfound love of wearing shirt as jackets. So I will start with the shirt which is our Ivory short sleeve shirt with two pockets.
It is made of a soft rayon/linen fabric that has a slight texture to it. The body is oversized and loose with two chest pockets. It has a traditional collar and stand with a hidden placket in the front with small buttons inside. The sleeves are short with a turn back cuff.
For today’s look I have shown you three ways you can wear this shirt. First one is a lightweight jacket/topper, second one is a shirt buttoned up and tucked in and the last one is buttoned up and left out.
As a jacket, I have worn it over our navy ivory stripe scoop neck short sleeve top. It is made from rayon spandex and has a nice soft and buttery hand. It has a scoop neck which is a very flattering neckline shape. The body is semi shaped with the sides slightly shorter than front and back. We also have this top in a sage/ivory color combo and you can see that piece here.
To finish off the look I have added our fun ivory navy gold chain print silky neck scarf. I have shown you several different ways you can wear this neck scarf with both tops. For jewelry, I have kept it simple by wearing our multi strand gold bead bracelet set. The gold jewelry picks up the gold chain detail on the neck scarf print.
