A Touch Of Amalfi Coast For Spring

For today’s look I am channeling the iconic lemon prints of the Amalfi Coast which are instantly recognizable, inspired by the region’s famed Sfusato Amalfitano lemons—large, fragrant, and beautifully sun-kissed. These vibrant motifs, often set against crisp white or hand-painted ceramic backdrops, have become synonymous with Italian coastal style. Luxury fashion houses like Dolce & Gabbana have brought these prints to the runway, turning them into bold, feminine statements that capture the essence of summer. Whether seen on flowing dresses, scarves, or accessories, Amalfi lemon prints evoke a sense of joy, warmth, and effortless Mediterranean glamour.

The silky neck scarf I am showing you today is one of these fun pieces. Printed in a beautiful pattern in blue, white and green with the lemon yellow as its prominent statement. This is such a fun scarf, and it instantly wants you to take a vacation in Italy! I have styled it many ways including wearing it around my waist as a tie belt.

As for the outfit itself, I wanted to do a classic combo of navy and white, so I chose our navy cape vest combined with our white shirt with chambray blue stripes. First a little bit about our cape vests:

Our cape vests are knitted in a very soft yarn that feels cozy and comfy yet chic. They have two arm holes, and you can wear them two different ways: One way is more of a “cape look” with the cape part spread over your shoulders. As for the shirt, it is one of our new arrivals for Spring. The background is white and the pinstripes are in chambray blue. It is made of a soft 100% rayon fabric. The body is loose but not oversized with long sleeves that can fold up and finished with a tab for a ¾ sleeve look. It has the traditional shirt collar, small white buttons and one pocket on the chest. I finished off the look with a new pair or beautiful gold earrings, our gold bent metal hoop earrings.
