Adding bright colors to a black and white look
Black and white are always a great color combo to start out with when putting an outfit together. Keeping that in mind, for today’s style feature, I started out with my black skinny jeans and our Ivory Light Weight Knit Cardigan with Cascading Collar. I call the color of the cardigan ivory because it is not true white, but almost white.
This pretty cardigan is made from a super soft ivory yarn with a loose and textured type of weave. The body is semi shaped but easy to wear. It has long sleeves and a cascading collar that drapes beautifully in the front. Also, the back of the cardigan is slightly shorter than the front.
After getting the black and white base outfit done, I wanted to add some bright colors to the look. I started off by wearing our best-selling Kelly Green Round Neck Elbow Length Top. I introduced this top to you last spring/summer and it was so popular that I decided to bring it back for this year as well.
It is made from a soft rayon jersey knit. The body is semi loose but not oversized. It has elbow length sleeves, which is a new take on the three-quarter length sleeves. What I like about these sleeves is that you can fold them up a few times and make them shorter for hotter days.
To take the outfit up a notch and add some more colors to it, I added a beautiful new scarf. The main colors are green, pink and white which complement the whole outfit well. I finished off the look with our Matte Gold Chunky Hammered Link Chain Necklace.
