Classic Fall Textures And Patterns In Tan And Black

Fall is the perfect season for mixing rich fabrics, textures and patterns, especially in classic colors like black and tan. Today I have a couple of such looks for you in this color combo.

For the first look I have re-styled our stylish Tan Boucle and Solid Combo Reversible Belted Coat. It is made of a medium weight fabric that is boucle on one side and solid on the other side. The boucle side has all the seams finished on the outside which gives it a stylish and unique look. The seams are on the outside on the boucle side and on the inside, which is the solid side it has all clean seams. This makes it possible to wear either side and for this reason, there is no label on this piece which is unconstructed with no lining or shoulder pads.

It also has a long sleeve with an adjustable fold back cuff, a big shawl collar and a self-belt that you can wear many ways. I have shown you how it looks belted and left open with the belt tied in the back. I have also shown a couple of photos of the solid side in the style feature photos below.

Since we are officially in holiday season, I am wearing this chic coat with our new Black Velvet Turtleneck Knit Top. I personally love turtlenecks and I love stretch velvet tops for this time of the year. The fabric is a soft stretch velvet, and the body is loose and easy to wear. This top can be worn casually with jeans and boots or dressed up a bit for the holiday season.

The second outerwear item is also a new item, our Tan Black Windowpane Turtleneck Poncho. Our ponchos have been very popular this fall, and I think this one is another great one. The knit fabric is very soft and the pattern is a windowpane (plaid). It has a chunky fold back turtleneck, and the edges are finished in a small self-fringe.

For jewelry I have mixed two of our necklaces together for this look. As you know I love mixing different necklaces together to make a new statement. The combination of the gold and black is a perfect match for this look and these two necklaces mix really well together.

To add to the rich combo of materials in this look, I decided to wear them with my faux leather pants, which is another rich fabric for fall and winter.
