Classics With A Twist

Using classic fabrics is such a big part of fashion, it never gets old and sometimes it is even nice to take a classic fabrics that are usually used for classic bodies and give it a twist.

That is how I would describe our Glen Plaid Cocoon Jacket, which is one of my favorite jackets. The fabric is an all-time classic fabric, but the cocoon shaped silhouette is a new twist using this fabric.

It also has a big fold back collar and elbow length sleeves. The whole cut of the jacket is very interesting and unique so I hope you will take a closer look at it in our shop photos. It is not lined, but all the seams inside are clean finished with a binding for an expensive finished look.

This jacket is definitely a statement piece that you can put on over jeans, like I have done for today’s look or even with black pants and it automatically elevates your look. I do suggest you wear it with slimmer bottoms since it is a bigger shape on top.

I have styled it today with our beautiful Oatmeal Round Neck Side Twist Top, which is one of our classic/basic tops with a twist (no pun intended).

The rayon jersey modal fabric and the long sleeve t-shirt body is the basic part but the side twist gives it a fresh new sophisticated look.
