Dreaming Of Spring In Blue
We still have a couple of months until the official start of spring but I have been designing and working on our spring products for a while now. Most of the stores are starting to get their spring products which will continue for a few months to come. Most of us might not be quite ready to start purchasing lots of spring items yet, and that is why there is a time frame called transition which helps us transition slowly from winter into spring.
Today I am showing you a look that I consider a perfect transitional outfit. The color combo is one that you can easily wear now and then take it into spring/summer. The jacket I am showing you today is made out of a soft textured knit fabric making it cozy and warm enough to wear now but you can easily wear it for spring as well. It has a cropped body with a cute peplum detail, fold back collar and long sleeves making it versatile enough for any season.
You can easily wear it with a soft top or a warmer sweater underneath. I wore it over our brand new trendy white v neck floral embroidered top which is also a great piece that you can wear under jackets now and on its own as the weather warms up. It is also on trend as embroideries are super hot right now and will be going into spring and summer. This top is made out of a soft 100% rayon fabric and because it is white, I want to mention that it is a little see through and you may need to wear a camisole under it as I have done here.
Last but not least I added one of our brand new scarves that is made of a beautiful print in timeless color combo with a fun tassel trim.
I wore these pieces with my wide leg dark wash jeans, booties and socks to keep warm and added my Prada bag to finish off the look. Any of the three pieces I am showing you today can be worn right now or later for spring and summer depending on how you style them. That is why this is a great transitional outfit.
