Easter Day With Family Wearing Our Harper Jacket
I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend. We had a great time meeting up with my family. As I have mentioned before my husband’s family are all in England so most holidays we end up spending it with my side of the family, my two sisters, my brother and their families. Unfortunately both my parents have passed away but I am grateful that my siblings live close by and we can still have our traditional family get togethers for various holidays. I was also super excited to have my son home from USC for a couple of days, as I had missed him terribly.
Early Last week I was thinking about what to wear for Easter and I thought about my Harper women’s jacket and how perfect the beautiful coral color would be for Easter. So keeping the coral color in mind I went shopping Thursday for a dress to wear under the jacket. I wanted something cute, printed and preferably floral. I don’t know about you, but whenever I am looking for something specific in stores, I can never find it.
Sure enough this was the same story for my Easter dress and I couldn’t really find anything I was really looking for until I came across this black and ivory printed romper called the Sea Floral Romper at the Loft by Ann Taylor. I have never actually owned a romper before, in fact I am not big on jumpsuits or rompers, but whenever I see them on someone else I like them. So when I tried it on, I was suprised that I immediately loved it and thought how I could wear it with so many other things. This was it and I knew right away it would look great with my for my Easter outfit.
For Accessories: I simply added one of our beautiful black pendant and gold tassel necklaces and matching earrings, my black sandals and my small Chanel bag and I was good to go.
