Easy Outfit Ideas For Summer Vacations Or Weekends

How is everyone’s summer going so far? Are you planning any summer trips? We are leaving for Italy in couple of weeks and I can’t wait as it is one of my favorite countries to visit.

Since I have been planning this trip with my husband, I thought it would be a good idea to touch on a few pointers for travel outfits.

Comfortable shoes especially if you are planning to walk a lot
Easy yet stylish tops and blouses that you can throw on over jeans or shorts
Easy breezy dresses
A couple of lightweight jackets, cardigans or kimonos to throw over dresses or tops for a dressier vibe
Sunglasses, hat and sunscreen
Cross body bags or stylish backpacks
A few jewelry pieces that would work with a lot of items
Swimsuit depending on your trip but I always like to pack one in case you want to use the spa etc.

Today I want to show you a couple of casual stylish looks that can easily work on a holiday or for a weekend getaway. I started with my cropped denim pants as a bottom and in the first look I styled it with our Ivory Ruffle Sleeve Jersey Top which is a great t-shirt top with a twist. Then I added our Geometric Print Belted Kimono with Fringe Trim as an easy and lightweight outer piece. The belt is optional as it is removable but if I don’t tie it, I like loosely tying it in the back. I also love the idea of adding a bright color bag to the outfit which makes it more fun, hence my orange Gucci bag. You can also do a straw bag with this look which is great for this time of the year especially for the beach.

For a second option, I wore the same cropped jeans with our Sleeveless Blue White Stripe Long Shirt with Side Ties which is a great shirt that you can wear in many ways. It can be worn buttoned up or left open with a camisole underneath, or you can even tie the front and leave the back long. I have shown you two of those looks below.
