Falling In Love With Neutrals

Fashion neutrals are colors that can go with anything and they are essential for building any woman’s wardrobe. They are usually the base color/colors to any outfit. You can combine them with other neutrals or bright colors. Basic neutral colors consist of: Black, White, Gray, Brown, Navy and khaki or Tan.

You can wear them for all four seasons depending on what you combine them with. I personally love neutrals and basically live in them. They are super chic combined together or as a base to any bright color or print.

Today I am showing you a couple of fall neutral looks. I am calling them “fall neutrals” because they are darker, deeper colors that work perfectly for transition and fall.

For today’s look, I am wearing our Olive Four Pocket Cargo Jacket with two brand new tops. The first one is our White Tan Stripe Two Pocket Shirt, which is a great neutral color shirt that can work with anything. It is made out of a wonderful soft rayon fabric.

The body is semi loose and easy, with a traditional shirt collar, cuffs and pockets. The length hits below the hip and the back is slightly longer than the front. I have half tucked in the front for my look, but you can see it left out in our shop photos.

For a second top option today, I wore our Taupe and Ivory Slub Yarn Knit Mock Neck Top which is a great neutral knit top for fall. This is a cozy top made out of a taupe and ivory slub yarn which gives it an interesting texture. It has long sleeves and the body is loose and I love the mock neck which is perfect for fall.

Both tops looks great with our Olive Cargo Jacket which I have styled for you before. It is a beautiful jacket that you can wear year-round. Even though I am calling it olive, it is a neutral since it is more of a brown/olive.

Last but not least I added a beautiful scarf shawl, our brand new Multi Color Abstract Leaf Print Scarf Shawl. This scarf has very pretty fall neutrals with a little bit of red mixed in there. It looks great as a scarf or shawl.
