How To Make Feminine Pieces Modern And Edgy
Today I am debuting a few brand-new pieces that are very pretty and what I would categorize as feminine pieces. As women, I think most of us like wearing some feminine pieces from time to time.
So today I wanted to share with you my take on how to wear feminine pieces without looking too girly. The key here is to mix them with edgier and more modern pieces, hence the look I am showing you today.
When I was putting this look together, I realized how both the top and the cardigan are such soft feminine pieces. First, the Coral Jersey Ruffle Top is a very pretty shade of coral with a ruffle detail on the front that continues to the sleeves. The combination of the color and the ruffle detail make this top in my opinion a favorite must have feminine piece.
For the second piece here our new Ivory Knit Cardigan with Floral Pattern has a very feminine feel to it because of the floral pattern that is knitted into the mesh pattern of the cardigan. It also has scalloped edges on the bottom of the sleeves and on the hem that gives it a unique and delicate finish. The sleeves are slightly bell-shaped and are three quarter in length.
As for the accessories for today’s outfit, both the necklace and the scarf have some feminine aspects in them but not as much as the top and the cardigan. The Silver Chain and Pearl Key Charm Necklace has pearls and the charms that give it a softer edge.
The Taupe White Black Floral Stripe Scarf is made out of a nice soft rayon fabric and the floral part of the pattern give it a feminine look and feel. This is the same scarf I debuted last week in a yellow black and white color combo which was a big hit. We sold out of almost all of them except for one.
These four pieces combined together for me create a soft and feminine look which I think is very pretty which is why I wanted to style it with my skinny jeans and gladiator sandals to make the look more edgy and modern.
