Mixing Patterns For A Casual Weekend Look
I always like mixing interesting patterns together and today I have two brand new pieces that I think mix really well together. Take a look at our fun new item that I am calling our Taupe Botanical Print Belted Kimono which it is made out of a beautiful soft printed rayon fabric.
The print is a pretty botanical pattern with taupe being the base color and it has lots of other colors in the print like coral, blue, yellow, teal and white. All these colors make it an easy piece to wear with lots of different colors.
The body is loose and long with a drawstring belt that has two cute tassels at the ends. It has kimono style sleeves that are finished in a taupe satin band which also runs around in the front.
I thought it would be fun to mix this botanical print with a stripe top, as I always love mixing florals with stripes. So I have the perfect Ivory and Taupe Stripe T Shirt to wear with this kimono. It is made out of a soft rayon jersey fabric with the top and the bottom being solid taupe and the middle part an ivory and taupe stripe. The sleeves are long with the same detail as the body. The top is long and as I have shown you in the photos and you can wear it out or half tucked in the front.
I wore the two new items with my ripped jeans, espadrille slides and a cross body bag. As for accessories, I added our Antique Gold Necklace with Rust Stone and Brown Tan Gold Bead Bracelet. Both pieces have earth tones that work really well with this kimono and the top.
