Mothers Day Trunk Show At Ca Del Sole Restaurant
A few months ago a very good friend of mine contacted me to see if I wanted to have a trunk show for my jackets, jewelry and scarves during a Mother’s Day luncheon that she was organizing. She explained that this was the second year they were doing the luncheon event and it was going to be at a beautiful Italian restaurant in Toluca Lake called “Ca Del Sole”.
I knew of the restaurant and had been there once or twice over the last few years always enjoyed the atmosphere and food, so I accepted the invitation right away, as I knew the restaurant setting was beautiful and would make it an ideal place to show my jacket collection to the ladies attending. I felt very confident that the ladies attending were my demographic and hoped to meet new potential customers.
As far as the restaurant name”Ca Del Sole” it means “House of the sun” and it truly felt that way because of their beautiful outdoor/indoor décor of the restaurant. It is modeled after a Venetian country inn, and has a plant and palm tree filled patio with private cabanas that normally have table setting for dining, this is what makes this setting so unique and sublime for me. If you are ever in Los Angeles area I highly recommend this Zagat rated restaurant for lunch or dinner.
My husband and I got an early start on the Saturday morning around 9am to set up our booth for the 11am event start. We had a very nice corner area on the patio, which was roomy enough to display all my jackets, and jewelry and scarves on a couple of tables. After initial set up, my husband left and I proceeded to pamper the booth until the first ladies started to arrive.
It got busy pretty quickly and I started selling right away. The event was such a great experience for me, I got to see a lot of friends I hadn’t seen for a long time, and I also met a lot of new ladies who loved my jackets and jewelry and are now new clients. I love these kinds of trunk shows because I get to meet my existing customers and new customers and I have chance to get a one on one conversation with them to hear their personal needs so I can help show them how to wear my jackets and accessories to look their best. I wish I had the opportunity to do more of these kind of events as they are such fun to have.
I had a wonderful day and a great experience with all the wonderful ladies in attendance and would personally like to thank Ella Boghosian, Teni Khosrovian, Carmen Boodaghian and Caroline Mikailian for inviting “Jacket Society” and producing such a wonderful event for everyone.
Some of our best sellers during the show were the Joy Jacquard jacket, the Stephanie jacket, the Olivia jacket, the Kate jacket, the Soleil jacket, and the Avery jacket.
If you are interested in any of these jackets, be sure to take a look and see if they belong in your wardrobe – don't wait long because after this show my inventory is now limited and they will sell out soon.
Below I have included some of the pictures from the event. I look forward to doing many more of these in the future – Please contact me if you live in the Los Angeles Area and would like to me to attend one of your events.
