Mustard Yellow Trending For Women's Fall Fashion

As for today’s look, I have re-styled our navy parka style jacket which I think is perfect for early fall. It is lightweight but it is fully lined in a navy lining. It has the typical characteristics of a parka jacket like a hood, gold zipper and snap closure in the front, pockets with flaps and a drawstring cord belt.
I paired it today with our mustard round neck elbow length sleeve top. First, I really like the navy/mustard color combo and second, different shades of yellow are trending for fall. In fact, one of Pantone’s fall colors is called “High Visibility” which is a great shade of yellow.
I personally like to go with a deeper, darker shade of yellow for fall like mustard. That’s why I thought our yellow mustard top is perfect. It is made from a soft rayon jersey knit. The body is loose and a bit oversized. It has elbow length sleeves, which is a new take on the three-quarter length sleeves. The elbow sleeve length is a good alternative for transitional months.
It is always great to find the perfect scarf to work back into an outfit and let me just say that we have the perfect scarf to go along with today’s look. Our navy blue gold abstract floral silky scarf which I first debuted HERE and it works well with both the top and the jacket.
For jewelry I have a beautiful new necklace to share with you. Our gold chain necklace with novelty toggle pendant and stones is a must-have piece and complements the mustard yellow nicely. It will also work great with lots of outfits just like it does with today’s look.
