Pattern Mixing In Red White And Blue

With Fourth of July right around the corner, I have a few red white and blue looks for you today that are perfect for this upcoming fun holiday.

Other than the color scheme, which is obvious, I wanted to combine a few different patterns for you to make the outfits more exciting.

I started off with my white skinny jeans which are a great base to start with for this color combo. For the first outfit I combined stripes and plaids which always make a fun pattern mix, so I wore our Navy Plaid Shirt Jacket with Pockets with our brand-new Navy Ivory Stripe V Neck T Shirt.

I have styled this plaid shirt jacket for you a few times before and it is currently on SALE! It is a great light weight plaid shirt that you can wear as a shirt or leave the buttons open, making it a jacket. It has two lower pockets in the front and that is why I call it a shirt jacket.

I am wearing it over our Navy and Ivory Stripe V Neck T-shirt which is a new addition to our rayon jersey t-shirts that we carry year round in variety of other color combos. The navy ivory color combo makes it perfect for summer and it looks great with white jeans. The fabric is super soft, and the body is loose and over-sized.

For a second outerwear option, I wore our White Navy Paisley Kimono with Tassels. For this look I love the mix of the stripes and the paisley print of the kimono. This kimono is a great piece for summer as well, since its light weight and can be worn as a light jacket or cover up for different occasions.

For jewelry, I mixed two necklaces together which I think look great paired up. One of them, our Silver Chain Necklace with Silver Pendant and beads is an all silver necklace. The other one, our Antique Gold Silver and Pearl Medallion Necklace combines gold and silver together. I love the two pieces mixed together, but they are each beautiful pieces on their own.

I also added our Matt Gold and Silver Round Shape Bracelet which also combines gold and silver together.

To finish off this Fourth of July inspired look, I wanted to add a bit of red, so I wore my Gucci Red cross body bag for a pop of color.
