Shades Of Green Making A Big Comeback For Spring 2019

When I was a lot younger, green was one of my favorite colors. I am not sure what happened throughout the years but I now don’t seem to have as much green as I used to in my closet. The only reason I can think of is that it is one of those colors that you don’t see in stores as much as other colors, likes blues and pinks.

I am happy to say that greens are making a big comeback this year and the good news is that there are many different shades of them out there so everyone can find one that will work for their complexion.

Today I am introducing a new jacket that falls into the “green family” colors. Our Sage Stone Washed Jacket with Lace Back Yoke is made out of a sage rayon fabric that has been stone washed to give it a distressed look. Because of the stone washing, it also feels super soft and supple. The stone washing has given it a faded and worn look which makes it unique and different. It is also lighter in color in certain parts like the hem so please make sure to look at the shop photos close up to make sure you like this effect before purchasing.

It has a cargo style look with two chest pockets, a stand collar, hidden placket and epaulettes with antique gold buttons. On top of all that detailing, it also has a very pretty lace overlay yoke on the back.

I wore this trendy jacket with a brand-new graphic top made out of a heather tan rayon jersey fabric. The top has a cute graphic print of two black feathers and the word “Dreaming” in metallic gold. The body is over sized and long. Below I have shown you how it looks tucked in and left out.

For accessories today I have added a pretty floral scarf that works really well with the jacket. It is our new Teal Rust Mocha Leaf Print Scarf made out of a sheer gauze fabric.

For a second accessory piece, I am wearing our new Matte Gold Leaf Earrings which look great with this top. Even though the graphic print on the top is a feather and the earrings are leaves, they have a very similar look and are perfect when worn together.
