Shades of Sage And Olive To Start The Year

Happy New Year Ladies! I hope everyone had a wonderful New Year’s long weekend. With the start of the new year, I wanted to share a quote with you that really resonated for me when I came across it a few days ago.

“The past is your lesson, the present is your gift, the future is your motivation”

With this quote in mind, I hope all of you have a fantastic 2023 and I wish you achieve whatever your goals and dreams are for this coming year!

To start this new year, I have put together a couple of looks based on shades of olive and sage. These colors are perfect transitional colors that can work for any season. The first look is with a new jacket, our Sage Quilted Knit Oversized Parka Jacket. This jacket is made of a soft knit fabric that has been quilted with a lightweight filler in a diamond shape pattern. The filler makes it medium weight so you can wear it now and take it into early spring.

The body is slightly oversized and long. It has antique silver snap buttons with a twill tape trim in the front. It has long sleeves and two pockets in the front. It is a comfy and cozy casual yet chic parka jacket.

For today’s look I am wearing it with our Olive Sage Camouflage Print Long Sleeve Top which I first styled for you HERE. The knit fabric is super soft and comfy. The body is loose and long but not oversized.

For another look, I have also combined this great camo top with our Sage Chunky Cable Knit Oversized Sweater Vest. I think the two items work well together. I first styled this vest for you HERE. This vest is made of a soft sage/cream marled yarn. It has a V neck with deep armholes that are finished in a ribbing. The body is a bit oversized, and the bottom of the sides have slits.
