Shades Of Yellow For Spring
Shades Of Yellow For SpringSpring is officially here and one of the colors trending for spring 2017, according to Pantone is yellow. They are calling the shade Primrose yellow which covers a variety of yellow shades. Yellow is another one of my favorite colors especially for spring and summer. It is a joyful color that makes me think of cheerful and sunny days. Personally I always like mixing it with a darker color like black, navy, gray, brown etc. I think the darker neutral shades tone it down and makes it easier to wear.
Today I am debuting our Canary Yellow V Neck Top, which is a pretty shade of yellow with an easy and loose body, making it great to wear on its own or layered under a jacket. I have used it as a pop color for my mainly black outfit. You can see two looks with it, one is styled with a brand new Black Lace Cardigan and the second look is with our Mondrian jacket which I have styled for you before.
The first look is with our Black Lace Cardigan which is made out of a soft lace in a semi shaped body that is finished with a black band in the front and has one button with a loop on top. It has long sleeves with the sleeve being slightly bell shaped in the bottom and finished with a black band as well. This is a great piece for spring and summer to wear over any top or dress to make it more stylish.
I am really excited about the necklace I am showing you today, our Chanel inspired Gold and Black Suede Chain Knot Necklace with Tassels. We had a similar necklace a while back and sold out of them very quickly. It looks great with this outfit but it is such a classic and will work with many other looks.
Finally, in case you don’t like the top with the lace cardigan, I am also giving you the option of styling it with our Mondrian jacket which also looks great with it. I wore both pieces with my black skinny jeans, lace up sandals and used my vintage Chanel bag to compliment the necklace.
