Shirts And Vests Make A Perfect Outfit Combo

I believe shirts and vests make a perfect combo for any season. Shirts normally look great under blazers and sweater so wearing them under vests is a refreshing new way that works just as well.

For today’s look I have re-styled our sage chunky cable knit oversized sweater vest. This time I have paired it with a great new white shirt that is one of our early spring arrivals.

First a little bit about the vest. This vest is made of a soft sage/cream marled yarn. It has a V neck with deep armholes that are finished in a ribbing. The body is a bit oversized, and the bottom of the sides have slits.

As for the white shirt, it is made of a textured soft white fabric that is a combination of cotton and modal (rayon). The body is semi loose but not oversized. It has all the characteristics of a classic shirt like a collar and placket in the front with small wood buttons. The sleeves are long with a cuff and one button. It also has one chest pocket.

To take the look up another notch, I have added a silky neck scarf which is also a new arrival. It has a multi pattern print with colors like sage, yellow and white making it a perfect piece for this look.

To finish off the look, I have also added another new piece that works well with the outfit. That is our seafoam and gold bead bracelet set of four which is a beautiful set.
