Steel Blue Cape Vest Styled With A Snakeskin Print Scarf
Hello again Ladies,
My husband and I usually like to take a trip to Europe during summer. Obviously we couldn’t do that last year because of Covid 19 and this year we decided to forgo a big trip as well, postponing it to next year until things stabilize.
So instead of Europe this year, we decided to take a road trip last week to Monterey, Carmel, and Big Sur areas. I had never been to this part of northern California and since it was my birthday, we decided to take a few days off to drive and discover these beautiful places.
We had a fantastic time, and I loved that whole area, especially Carmel. In the next few weeks, I will do a recap of our trip where I can talk more in depth about what we saw, where we ate and what I wore.
As for today’s look, I have a fun transitional look with two of our best-selling items: our Steel Blue Cape Vest and Ivory V Neck Long Sleeve Top.
I introduced the Steel Blue Cape Vest a while back and it has been a very popular color in our cape vest selection. So I decided to restock it again for this fall. It is a pretty shade of blue with a little bit of gray in it.
The fabric is a soft knit, and you can wear it as more of a “cape look” with the cape part spread over your shoulders, or “vest look” where you pull in the cape part. I have shown you both looks below.
Make sure to check all of our cape vest colors that we have available, which are as follows: Putty, Black, Maroon, Cream, and Teal. We will be getting more colors throughout fall season and if there is any particular color you would like to see in our cape vests please let me know.
For today’s look I wore it with our Ivory V Neck Long Sleeve Top which is one of our rayon modal jersey tops we stock all the time. It is a great not-so-basic, basic top you can wear with so many items. It is a perfect layering top for fall.
For accessories, I am wearing our Blue Yellow Orange Snakeskin Print Scarf which works perfectly with the Steel Blue Cape Vest. I personally love wearing scarves with our cape vests, as I think they give them a chic fall look.
To finish off my look, I am wearing our Gold Chain and Gunmetal Beads Necklace with Gold Pendant and my orange bag as a pop of color.
